The
International Veterinary Hospital is the first in Kuwait
to offer state of the art equipment and veterinary services.
Surgery:
The
hospital has two operating theatres, one for general
surgery and one for orthopedic surgery, with the latest
anaesthetic machine and monitoring equipment. Our recovery
unit holds the latest stainless steel recovery cages
with vet beds and accessories to assist with a quick
recovery after an operation.
Diagnostic:
Image
diagnostic equipment includes ultrasound for large and
small animals and birds. With ultrasound we can look
at the body's organs and make an assessment without
recourse to exploratory surgery. An endiscope is essential
for avian practice. We use a small rigid scope which
is ideal for birds.
An
x-ray machine is an important imaging tool and our high-density
x-ray machine is a vital part of the equipment available
at the hospital.
Laboratory:
Testing
is done in our fully equipped laboratory including biochemical,
haematological and immunological parameters. No need
to wait for important tests, we use the latest Vet Test
machine and we can have a full blood profile in ten
minutes.

further investigation are required, we are fully supported
by laboratories in the USA and Europe.
